Doug Young has built upon the success of his Fork n’ Pint restaurant in Waterford, Michigan by creating another in Lake Orion, MI at 51 N Broadway. It opened Nov. 1, 2017 and Detroit Metro Mashup was there to try it out.
We got there there early, just before the supper crowd showed up. As expected, the food was awesome, the decor just right for the location, cozy and comforting with a modern twist, and the service was very on the ball. Being huge pizza lovers, we had the Classic Cheese N Pepperoni pie; I thought it was excellent, Michele thought it was the best pizza she’s ever had. If you aren’t into pizza, or would just like to see all the other food items that are available, here is a link to the menu. There is something for everyone and, fyi, we’ve heard that the Dragon Fish is awesome!
If beverages are your thing, Fork n’ Pint is also going to make you happy. They have eight craft cocktails and 13 “Mules” on their menu. I had the Dragonfire Martini (pictured) and it was excellent! They also have a big selection of beer, including local craft brews for all you hip-hopsters.
